What equipment do I need?
You need one Gateway for your entire home. This is the device that brings Internet, TV, Phone, and WiFi together. The Gateway does not connect to a TV set so it can be installed anywhere in your house.
The Player is the quiet, space-saving device that connects to each TV set in your house. You will need one Player per TV. You can connect any number of Players in your home and then watch or record up to six different programs simultaneously. A remote control is provided with each Player.
Do I have to have FUSION on every TV in my house?
No, you can "mix and match" with FUSION. Some TV sets can continue to operate with other set-top boxes or no set-top box at all. These sets, however, will not have access to FUSION features.
How can I link my personal videos, photos, and music from my computer to my TV?
HomeConnect allows you to stream pictures, music and home movies from your computer to any Player. When your computer is connected to your home network (with a DLNA server program installed), you should automatically see that computer listed in the HomeConnect category of the Main Menu. HomeConnect can also stream web-based services (like Hulu or Netflix) from your computer to your TV using Play On.
