HAYS, KS — March 12, 2020 — Vyve Broadband continues multi-million-dollar capital investment to upgrade the rural cable infrastructure. Back by private equity, Vyve works to close the digital divide by providing the fastest Internet services to homes with a fiber-rich network and business products that will scale to accommodate commercial services growth, at no additional cost to rural citizens.
Today, Vyve has taken the next step in that mission with the launch of 1 Gigabit-per-second Internet service to customers within the City of Hillsboro, Florence and Marion, Kansas. The new Vyve Gig (1,000 Mbps) download speed, which is currently being tested, quadruples the current top speed offering of 250 Mbps and plans to be available to customers in April of 2020.
Phil Spencer, CEO of Vyve Broadband, said “We’re investing today in the network that our customers will need tomorrow. That means industry-leading speeds and a variety of speed tier options to suit all online behaviors.”
“We have the resources and the talented local teams to provide the communications service improvements, including the fastest Internet with speeds up to Gigabit, and advanced business service offerings that our customers deserve,” Spencer said. “Our overall company strategy is centered on providing advanced and reliable services to non-urban communities that other providers have overlooked.”
Vyve has a laser-focused commitment to providing the fastest, most reliable Internet services in parts of rural areas that historically have been overlooked. “We’re continuously adapting and innovating as connected device counts climb in households across the country,” added Spencer.
Vyve is proud to be an active and invested community partner.
